The Effect Of Work Environment And Work Discipline On The Performance Of Outpatient Employees At Dharmais Cancer Hospital West Jakarta
Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of work environment and work discipline on the performance of outpatient employees of Dharmais Cancer Hospital. This research method uses quantitative research methods with a descriptive approach. The data collection method used is a questionnaire questionnaire. The population used in this study were 60 employees. The sampling technique used saturated sampling and obtained a sample of 60 respondents. The data analysis techniques used are validity test, reliability test, normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, coefficient of determination, correlation coefficient, and hypothesis testing. Partial hypothesis testing of the work environment variable (X1) obtained the value of t count> t table (3.853> 2.001) this is reinforced by a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. This means that the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The statistical test of the work discipline variable (X2) obtained the value of t count> t table (10.308> 2.001) this is also reinforced by the significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. So it can be said that the work environment and work discipline simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The coefficient of determination obtained an R Square value of 0.666 means that the work environment and work discipline variables together have an influential contribution of 66.6% to employee performance while the remaining 33.4% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.
