Creating Productive Zones: The Effect Of The Physical Work Environment On Cooperative Member Satisfaction Baitut Tanwil Hidayatullah Depok

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of the physical work environment on member satisfaction at Baitut Tanwil Hidayatullah Depok using a quantitative associative method with an explanatory research approach. From a population of 1,658 members, a sample of 94 respondents was selected using the Slovin formula with a 10% margin of error. The data were processed using SPSS version 26 through regression, correlation, determination, and hypothesis testing techniques. The results indicate that the highest mean score within the physical work environment variable was for the office equipment indicator (4.01), while for the member satisfaction variable, the work results and colleagues indicators achieved the highest scores (3.92). Statistically, a significant influence was found with the regression equation Y = 10.930 + 0.719X and a strong correlation value of 0.733. The coefficient of determination showed a contribution of 53.8%, and the t-test results proved that tcount > t table (10.349 > 1.986), leading to the rejection of H0 and acceptance of Ha. This confirms that the physical work environment has a significant impact on member satisfaction at Baitut Tanwil Hidayatullah Depok.
